Picture this: you step into a softly glowing cave made of 5 tons (thats 10,000 lbs.) Himalayan salt. The air feels clean, the lights are low, soft spa music plays and a sense of calm hits you almost instantly. You sink into a zero-gravity chair, wrap up in a blanket, and exhale a deep, “ahhh.”
A fine mist of microscopic salt particles fills the air — quietly working its magic while you do absolutely nothing. The salt gently clears your airways, calms inflammation, and helps your body reset.
Some people nap. Some read (we have book lights… Just ask) Some meditate. Some will listen to their own audiobook or podcast. Some just sit there thinking, “Why didn’t I do this sooner?” Either way, it’s 45 minutes of peace, stillness, and deep breathing.

Myth: It’s just salty air and good vibes.
Truth: There’s real science behind the 84 trace minerals 🌬️Halotherapy started in Eastern Europe when doctors noticed that salt miners had unusually healthy lungs. Today, studies in journals like the Journal of Aerosol Medicine show that microscopic dry salt particles can:
Thin mucus and help your lungs clear out gunk (hello, easier breathing)
Reduce inflammation in the airways and skin
Cut down airborne bacteria and allergens in the room
And, let’s be honest, make you feel like you just spent a week at the beach—without the sunburn
The science calls it dry salt aerosol therapy, we just call it magic backed by minerals. 🧂✨
It’s not meant to replace medical treatment, but it’s a seriously powerful way to support your body’s natural ability to heal and restore balance.
-
You don’t need to be sick, stressed, or sporty to enjoy the benefits of halotherapy — you just have to breathe. 💛
Salt therapy is your natural way to reset from the inside out. Whether you come in to relax, recharge, or support your overall wellness, every session leaves you feeling a little lighter, calmer, and clearer.

Salt helps the body release impurities, improve circulation, and restore natural energy levels. Think of it as a mini wellness retreat in under an hour.Every session helps you breathe deeper, sleep better, and reconnect with your calm. 🧘♀️✨
-
Because it’s one of nature’s oldest healers — simple, pure, and surprisingly powerful. ✨
Salt has negative ions that help balance the air you breathe (think post-rain freshness). It’s antibacterial, anti-inflammatory, and mineral-rich, which means it helps your lungs clear out junk, your skin calm down, and your nervous system chill out.
In the cave, the microscopic salt particles act like tiny little scrub brushes for your respiratory system — cleansing, soothing, and restoring balance. It’s nature’s reset button… and it just feels good.
Basically, salt is the only thing that can make you breathe better, glow brighter, and taste great on fries. 🧂

We recommend you book online or over the phone in advance to ensure a seat is available. However, you can walk in during our open hours and see if there is an open seat. We start on the hour, so make sure to arrive 15 minutes early to fill out your form and get situated.
-
It depends on your goals — but consistency is where the magic happens. ✨
Most people notice benefits from their first session! There are different research-based recommendations depending on your ailments and goals.
For general wellness, stress relief, and that “ahhh” feeling we all crave, once a week or a few times a month is a great rhythm.
If you’re working through allergies, congestion, or respiratory issues, you might start with 2–3 sessions a week for the first few weeks to really open things up and get your system back on track.
Once your breathing, sleep, or skin improves, you can shift into a maintenance schedule — think of it like brushing your teeth or going to the gym for your lungs.
Every session builds on the last one, keeping your body balanced, your airways clear, and your nervous system chill. 🧘♀️
Quick Guide:
🌬️ Breathe & Relax – 1x per week
😴 Wellness & Stress Reset – 2–3x per month

While most traditional insurance plans don’t directly cover halotherapy, guests have used their FSA or HSA accounts to pay for sessions — especially when their provider recommends it for respiratory health. 🌬️
Because salt therapy can support conditions like asthma, allergies, sinus issues, bronchitis, and other respiratory concerns, some healthcare providers are happy to write a prescription or letter of medical necessity for halotherapy.
If that’s the case, we’ll happily provide a receipt you can submit to your insurance, FSA, or HSA administrator for potential reimbursement.
We always encourage checking with your insurance or FSA/HSA provider first to confirm what documentation they require — every plan is a little different. 💛
In short:
🧾 Most insurance: ❌ Not directly covered
💳 FSA / HSA: ✅ Often eligible with a doctor’s note
🩺 We’ll print your receipt to help you submit it -
Love this one 😄 — people always wonder that but are usually too shy to ask!
Nope — it stays beautifully clean! ✨
The salt you see on the floor and walls is naturally antibacterial, antimicrobial, and self-cleansing. Salt doesn’t harbor germs the way other surfaces do — that’s one of the reasons it’s been used for centuries to preserve and purify.
In addition to salt’s natural properties, we keep things extra fresh by:
Filtering and circulating the air between every session
Using a medical-grade halogenerator that grinds and disperses fresh pharmaceutical-grade salt for each treatment
Raking and leveling the salt floor daily
So while it looks like a beach, it’s actually one of the cleanest, most sterile environments you can relax in. 🌬️
Basically, salt is nature’s built-in cleaning crew — no mop required. 😉
Because the cave environment is naturally clean, we want to keep outside debris, pet dander, and dirt out — that’s why we ask all guests to hand-carry a clean pair of white socks to wear during their session or go bare foot. 🧦
This helps protect the salt floor and keeps the cave a pristine, peaceful space for everyone. Thank you for helping us keep it that way! 💛

Whether you’re training hard, chasing personal bests, or just love staying active in Alaska’s great outdoors, salt therapy can be a game-changer for your performance, recovery, and overall wellness. 🌬️
Tailored for athletes, halotherapy (dry salt therapy) supports lung function, muscle recovery, and inflammation reduction — helping you train smarter and bounce back faster.
💪 How Salt Therapy Supports Athletic Performance
🫁 Boosts Respiratory Efficiency
Dry salt particles gently open the airways, calm inflammation, and clear mucus — improving oxygen flow and endurance so you can breathe deeper and perform stronger.⚡ Speeds Up Recovery
Salt’s natural anti-inflammatory and purifying properties help your body recover faster from workouts, injuries, or respiratory illness — getting you back in action sooner.❤️ Enhances Stamina + Lowers Heart Rate
A more efficient respiratory system means your heart doesn’t have to work as hard during intense training. Athletes often notice improved stamina, better hydration, and fewer cramps.🌿 Reduces Inflammation + Soothes Muscles
Many athletes love to lay directly in the salt and cover their legs or feet — the cool salt helps calm inflammation, ease soreness, and reduce swelling after tough training sessions.
It’s like combining the benefits of an ice bath and beach day — minus the freezing water, plus total relaxation. 🧂✨😴 Supports Rest + Recovery
Beyond the physical, halotherapy promotes better sleep, reduces stress, and helps your nervous system reset — all key ingredients for long-term performance.Pro tip: Bring a pair of clean shorts if you want to enjoy a little more skin contact with the salt during your session — your legs will thank you!
-
We totally understand — life happens! 💛
If you need to cancel or reschedule, we kindly ask for at least 24 hours’ notice. You may do so with the text reminder you will receive 48 hour prior to your scheduled appointment. Because we’re a small business and hold your seat just for you, this gives us time to offer your spot to someone on our waiting list.
If you no-call or no-show, the full session fee will be automatically charged.
We appreciate your understanding and respect — your courtesy helps us keep things running smoothly for everyone who’s craving their own moment of salty calm. 🌿
-
For most people, halotherapy is completely safe and noninvasive — it’s gentle enough for kids, seniors, and even expectant moms. 🌿
That said, there are a few situations where it’s best to check with your healthcare provider before scheduling a session:
⚕️ Talk to your doctor first if you have:
Active infections (especially contagious respiratory illnesses like flu, COVID, or strep)
Open wounds, skin infections, or rashes
Severe or uncontrolled asthma
Active tuberculosis (TB)
Chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD) or Emphysema in advanced stages
Fever or acute respiratory distress
Cancer treatments or chemotherapy in progress (get your provider’s guidance)
Severe heart conditions or high blood pressure not managed by medication
Infants under 3 months old
💧 Good to know:
Salt therapy is naturally cleansing, so some guests experience a little temporary coughing, sinus drainage, or mild throat tickle as the salt clears mucus — that’s normal and typically passes quickly. If you’re unsure whether halotherapy is right for you, we always recommend a quick chat with your healthcare provider first. Safety first, salty peace second. 💛
